I began painting the sky with its northern lights. I plan to add more color and make the northern lights more translucent. The paint needs to dry a little before I tackle that.

I love how the swirl of the lights are directing the attention to your fisherman... and the V shape of the water prevents the eye from pouring off the right side of the canvas. You may consider flipping the chairs to form more of a barrier in the lower left corner to keep the attention in the composition. Coming along nicely!
