Fun Painting: December 9-10, 2007

I did a couple of fun things. I repainted a birdhouse. I bought this for a Christmas present but the paint job was a bit beat up and rough.






I also made this Christmas tree from Keri Smith's blogsite. I painted the ornaments, cut them out and decorated the tree. This would be fun for kids young and old.

"Bonita Bueno" is the second of two experimental abstracts from the same photo reference. In this one, I decided to go with more neutral tones with a bit of blues and greens. This is one of two experimental abstracts that I did using a landscape photo as a reference. I love purple, green and yellow together thus this bizarre combination.
